Our Mission

The mission of Heights High School is to provide a positive learning environment for every student, offering each the opportunity to gain proficiency in skills necessary for future goals.

Enrollment

Heights enrollment is Monday, July 28th through Friday, August 1st.

Enroll by mail!

To expedite your enrollment, we are offering a fee payment by mail option.  This option will help you avoid long lines at enrollment. If you choose to use the mail-in option, we must receive your enrollment by July 18th.  Only those who wish to make full payment of fees will be able to utilize the mail-in option.  If you wish to make partial payment, a parent or guardian must come to Heights High School during the published enrollment hours to complete the fee payment process.  Mail-in enrollment that contains partial payments, incorrect or incomplete forms will be returned and in-person enrollment will be required.  Those students who have paid enrollment fees and turned in the enrollment forms by mail will be allowed to complete the enrollment process on Friday, July 25 from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm.  The pay by mail students will be able to get their ID pictures taken and pick up their schedule packets on that day.

FEES – Students must be prepared to pay fees or have parents sign an “Agreement to Pay” form which is available at enrollment.  Students will not be able to sign the “Agreement to Pay” forms.  If a student has obligations from last year, those obligations must be paid before enrollment can be completed, or an agreement must be reached with the student’s administrator.  We will work with you to take care of obligations and fees;  however, those arrangements must be made to complete enrollment.  Students who qualify for free and reduced fees will need to complete that process as well.  The fee schedule is as follows:

All Students Must Pay a Minimum of $11.00 at enrollment, even when fee payment is waived or postponed:  $6.00 for agenda book, $2.00 for hall locker rental, and $3.00 for a photo ID card.  Items marked with a double ** are optional;  they are available if a student wants or needs them.  The activity ticket provides substantial savings during the year if the student attends home athletic events, drama, and music productions.  We encourage students to purchase activity tickets and participate as often as possible.
